Normally you want low and slow with for smoking w/ pellets. This uses pellets for heating a griddle that’s typically used for hot fast cooking. Smoke shouldn’t be much of a factor especially with the solid griddle. Yeah, can't imagine much smoke getting through the griddle, nor needing smoke on my eggs.
